Hotel The Lake Como EDITION opens bringing luxury wellness to iconic Italian lakefront – Longevity.Technology

Luxury brand EDITION, part of Marriott International, Inc.’s portfolio, has officially debuted its “The Lake Como EDITION” property on the western shore of Lake Como in the town of Cadenabbia, Italy. According to the company, the new resort marks the brand’s 21st global location and introduces a contemporary design‑led vision to a destination long defined by classical grandeur.

Developed in collaboration with investment groups Omnam Investment Group and Bain Capital, the hotel revitalizes a historic structure first built in 1830. The company says the property blends its signature minimalism with refined Italian craftsmanship, combining heritage facades with modern interiors crafted by design firm Neri&Hu and architects De.Tales.

The 148‑room resort, including 25 suites and two penthouses plus nine rooms in “Villa Gina”, features bespoke walnut furnishings, Calacatta marble accents and terraces overlooking the lake. A highlight of the property is its bold gastronomy offering: acclaimed three‑Michelin‑star chef Mauro Colagreco leads four distinct dining venues, his first venture in Italy, according to the release.

Well‑being is central to the hotel’s positioning, with the newly introduced “Longevity Spa” delivered in partnership with The Longevity Suite Group, offering advanced rejuvenation treatments, bio‑hacking protocols and a floating pool on the lake. A private dock and boat fleet also provide direct lakeside access, and the location allows guests to join the scenic Lake Como Greenway walking route.

The Lake Como EDITION opened in a preview phase during September and October 2025, with a grand opening formally scheduled for March 2026.

With this launch, Marriott and its partners aim to reposition Lake Como’s luxury accommodation offering by injecting a modern, design‑driven sensibility into the historic setting, targeting international tastemakers as well as travellers seeking elevated lifestyle experiences.
