Health tech startup Ultrahuman has launched Ultrahuman Home, a smart home platform designed to improve metabolic health by integrating real-time biomarker tracking with intelligent environmental controls.
The New Delhi-based company said the system connects with wearable devices to monitor biomarkers such as blood glucose, sleep patterns, and physical activity, adjusting in-home conditions like lighting, temperature, and air quality accordingly. Ultrahuman claims the system is capable of reducing metabolic risk by aligning environmental cues with individual health needs.
“This is the first time that metabolic health and healthspan can be influenced passively through the power of your environment,” said Ultrahuman founder and CEO, Mohit Kumar.
The system also syncs with Ultrahuman’s existing wearable devices, including its glucose monitor and smart ring, to provide personalized automation and health insights. According to the company, Ultrahuman Home includes sensors for CO2, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds, with recommendations and interventions based on individual health data.
Ultrahuman says its platform is intended to help combat the global rise in metabolic disorders. The company cites World Health Organization data stating that over 1 billion people are living with obesity worldwide, and metabolic health issues account for over 60% of deaths globally.
The company claims it has 250,000 users across more than 150 countries and plans to expand its health-focused ecosystem with upcoming product launches.
