The Aramore team explains why when it comes to skin health and longevity, it’s good to keep things topical.
Aramore stands at the forefront of longevity science with a unique approach to skincare that combines rigorous research with cellular-level interventions. The company’s NAD+ Cell Energizing Lotion, developed by leading scientists from Harvard and MIT, uses a proprietary NAD+ complex that supports cellular health by stimulating energy production in skin cells, promoting skin health and resilience from the inside out. By working at the cellular level, the lotion stimulates metabolism, reinforces skin structure and combats visible aging signs such as wrinkles and loss of firmness, all while supporting the skin’s natural barrier functions for long-lasting results.
Aramore’s dedication to innovation is reflected in their years of research to optimize NAD+ delivery through a topical solution. Recognizing that NAD+ molecules are challenging to absorb through the skin, they formulated a complex that includes both NAD+ precursors and essential nutrients to enhance cellular NAD+ synthesis. This advancement not only supports collagen production but also directly addresses the cellular energy decline associated with aging, setting a new standard for effective, science-backed skincare.
Longevity.Technology: This commitment extends beyond skincare products alone. Aramore’s system includes supplements that work internally to support overall skin health, acknowledging the importance of a holistic approach to aging. By addressing both internal and external factors, Aramore has developed a comprehensive regimen that tackles intrinsic and extrinsic aging, underscoring their emphasis on clinically proven results and long-term skin vitality.
We sat down with Sarina Elmariah, Scientific Cofounder, Diana Saville, Cofounder and Head of Research, and Erin Cotter, CEO, to find out more.
Sarina Elmariah on the science behind the lotion
When we think about aging in general, there’s chronologic aging, which is the aging that’s intrinsic to the cell and includes mitochondrial senescence, the dysfunction, the inability to really be a powerhouse for the cell. But then there are also these unique factors that are extrinsic – sun damage, UV, smoking, other environmental toxins – that are then accelerating that aging process. What we’re trying to do, again, both through just internal nutrition, through our supplementation, but also extrinsically, we’re trying to hone in on those building blocks. We’re looking at aspects of natural cell aging and trying to reduce cellular senescence. We are also trying to address other factors that contribute to that accelerated aging, such as inflammation and additional sources of oxidative stress unique to the skin, the hydration of that epithelial barrier, your epidermis, as well as as trying to focus in at a cellular level on being able to promote the health and the energy, and really the vitality, of any individual cell.
Diana Saville on the research that is Aramore’s bedrock
Lots of companies do clinical trials, but we try to vet the ingredients that we use and our final product at really every step of the development. We vetted every molecule, every ingredient that we use in terms of already existing human data to show that this would work, whether topically or as a supplement. Once we had our various products, we tested them individually as well as a system. Aramore was created as a system – it is meant to work with you with your natural circadian system with the different aspects of cellular renewal throughout the day and the night. In terms of studies, we’ve had clinical trials of our finished products, and we found that there was improvement across the board in metrics of hydration, pigmentation and radiance, even between four and eight weeks of just using the energizing lotion alone.

Diana Saville on bioavailability
A whole issue for me about supplements is the question of bioavailability – is it actually being absorbed and used by the body? So many supplements have laughable, tiny, tiny amounts of their star ingredient which is supposed to help people, but you need the amount that’s used in these clinical studies with human beings. You need to use that amount in the supplement. The amount of data and good data with real randomized controlled trials, clinical studies on human beings really matters in terms of deciding what to put in your body.
Erin Cotter on a unique approach
Aramore is different – it’s a company that’s rooted in real science that started with a discovery in stem cells, not just making another skincare product.
We’re really just getting started. Women’s needs, particularly women’s health needs have been ignored for far too long. The longevity space is still really dominated by men, and we see an opportunity to execute on our mission to help women age better and to give them the tools so they can look their best, feel their best and continue to do the things that they love to do for the rest of their lives.
