Generation Lab secures $11 M seed round to scale SystemAge platform – Longevity.Technology

Generation Lab announced that it has raised an $11 million seed funding round, bringing its total funding to $15 million, to accelerate the rollout of its SystemAge biological-age diagnostic platform. The round was led by Accel and includes participation from Samsung Next, Zone2, Aoki Labs, Build Your Legacy Ventures and Markham Valley Ventures, according to the company.

According to the company, the SystemAge test assesses the health and aging of 19 organ systems and functions from a single primary-blood sample, claiming 99.9 % diagnostic accuracy and a dataset of over 300 million human-aging data points.

The company said that by less than ten months after launch, more than 275 clinics worldwide had signed on to use the platform.

Generation Lab said the funding will be used to accelerate commercial adoption of SystemAge in clinics globally. The company claims that its technology offers a systems-based measurement of biological aging rather than predictive modelling typical of many “biological clock” tests.

The seed raising places the company among the top 1 % of startup seed rounds by size, according to the company.

The company noted that its investor group includes strategic names spanning wellness, sports and celebrity-backed funds, which it said underscores the market interest in longevity diagnostics. The company claims the platform’s early traction signals growing demand for personalized health-span insights.
