Emagene Life announced a global partnership with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) to advance functional medicine, longevity and artificial intelligence–based health care, according to the company.
Under the collaboration, Emagene Life will integrate IFM-trained practitioners into its network and launch the Emagene Academy, a regional training hub for doctors, nutritionists and health professionals in Asia aligned with IFM standards. The initiative aims to adapt IFM education to local clinical and cultural contexts, the company said.
A key feature of Emagene’s offering is its proprietary “Avio Health” AI system, which the company claims is a functional medicine large language model that can analyze medical records, labs, imaging, genomics and lifestyle data to generate health insights. Emagene says it will combine AI interpretation with clinician expertise in its care model.
Emagene describes itself as the first healthcare organisation in Asia to bring together IFM-certified practitioners, longevity-oriented medicine, and an integrated AI system under one roof. The company said the partnership with IFM would enable it to scale its approach globally while maintaining high standards of integrative care.
Emagene operates clinics with IFM-certified doctors and plans to expand its footprint and educational outreach across Asia and beyond through the new alliance.
