Cortechs.ai has acquired intellectual property from ZepMed, LLC, including its patented CT imaging technologies and its key product, NeuroAlign CT™, the company said.
The acquisition bolsters Cortechs.ai’s neuroimaging portfolio and strengthens its position in AI-powered radiology solutions, the company claims. NeuroAlign CT is a Class II FDA-cleared software that automates segmentation, alignment, and reformatting of head CT scans to aid clinicians in diagnosing changes in brain anatomy.
According to the company, ZepMed’s core imaging innovations will be integrated into Cortechs.ai’s existing platform, enabling further development of advanced predictive and diagnostic tools. The deal reinforces the company’s efforts to build a more comprehensive precision medicine ecosystem across radiology and neuroimaging.
Cortechs.ai describes itself as a developer of AI-driven medical imaging software used in brain disease quantification, cancer detection, and neurodegenerative disorder tracking. ZepMed is known for its CT software solutions aimed at enhancing the speed and accuracy of radiological interpretation.
