Equinox is deepening its collaboration with Function, a health platform that offers access to more than 160 advanced lab tests and AI-powered imaging, with the aim of connecting internal health metrics to physical performance and long-term wellness for members.
Under the expanded partnership, Equinox members will receive preferred access to Function through exclusive pricing and integrated program offerings designed to support precision health and performance. One new element is a premium Function membership subsidized by Equinox, priced at US$249 for the first year (versus the regular $365), which gives users comprehensive lab testing and personalized health insights across areas such as hormones, metabolic markers, and recovery-related biomarkers. This allows members to better understand their physiology and tailor training and wellness routines based on biological data rather than subjective measures alone.
The partnership also supports Equinox’s EQX ARC women’s health program, with Function providing clinical-grade testing and health insights that inform training plans across life stages—from hormone health and fertility through perimenopause and beyond. By integrating a full hormone panel and other biomarker data, coaches and members can adjust exercise, nutrition, and recovery strategies with precision.
Function is developing a Medical Intelligence system—a continuous learning platform intended to help individuals interpret and act on their biological data in real time—which Equinox says will help broaden how results are defined beyond traditional fitness outcomes. The collaboration reflects a trend toward blending clinical-level diagnostics with premium fitness offerings to enhance member experience and drive measurable performance improvements.
