Longevity.Technology launches consumer products division

Initial product is a longevity supplement designed to promote healthspan.

Longevity.Technology today announced the launch of its consumer division, which will offer products designed to promote human health and longevity. The company also unveiled its first product, FLT® LONGEVITY, a nutritional supplement combining multiple, evidence-based ingredients designed to optimize cellular health.

Leveraging long-standing relationships with leading ingredient suppliers was key to Longevity.Technology’s consumer strategy. The company partnered with NAD+ research pioneer ChromaDex to supply its patented nicotinamide riboside (NR) ingredient Niagen as the “hero” ingredient in the new supplement. Niagen is clinically proven to boost levels of NAD+, a critical coenzyme supporting vital cellular and metabolic processes.

The unique formulation of FLT LONGEVITY also combines several other ingredients proven to optimize cellular health, including fisetin, resveratrol, L-ergothioneine and spermidine. The supplement is designed to increase NAD+ levels, support mitochondrial health and function, decrease the rate of telomere shortening, help eliminate senescent cells and, ultimately, address the progression of aging.

“After years of reviewing and reporting on the science behind how people can live longer, healthier lives, we identified the need for more longevity products backed by robust scientific evidence,” said the head of Longevity.Technology’s consumer division, Dev Heaton. “Our supplement line is distinguished by its commitment to human evidence and scientific validation. While many supplements rely on animal studies or preliminary data, our hero ingredients are supported by data from human trials, ensuring that customers receive products with proven efficacy for healthspan and longevity.”

Evidenced-based ingredients only

Collaborating with a team of experienced scientists, researchers and health experts to develop its supplements, Longevity.Technology aims to ensure that each product is formulated based on the latest scientific research, with a rigorous development process to meet the highest standards. For example, more than 30 peer-reviewed human clinical studies demonstrate the benefits of Niagen supplementation across critical health areas, including cellular, brain, heart and muscle health. Of these studies, 18 show that Niagen increases NAD+ levels and/or NAD+ flux (the rate at which cells make and use NAD+) in blood and tissue.

Rob Fried, CEO of ChromaDex and founder of Tru Niagen said: “Niagen NR is by far the most efficient, safe, and legal precursor of all the available NAD+ boosters, including NAD+ itself and precursors such as NMN. By featuring Niagen in their first supplement, Longevity.Technology displays their knowledge of and commitment to advancing accessible, science-backed solutions.”

“Each product will undergo strict testing and quality assurance processes to meet the highest industry standards,” said Heaton “Our brand reputation is built on trust, and we intend to uphold this by delivering the most effective products.”

Raising the bar in longevity supplements

The company is working with custom ingredients leader Blue California to combine its proprietary ingredients, including ErgoActive (L-Ergothioneine), with other longevity and healthspan supporting molecules to create ‘stacked’ supplement products initially to support longevity, healthspan, muscle maintenance and cognitive function.

“We are thrilled to partner with Longevity.Technology in developing custom formulations that are rooted in cutting-edge science and designed to support healthspan and longevity,” said Linda May-Zhang, PhD, VP of Science and Innovation at Blue California. “Longevity.Technology’s commitment to using science-based ingredients aligns perfectly with our mission. Generating robust evidence takes time and resources, but it’s crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and safety of our products.”

“We will be offering supplement stacks grounded in science and developed with a commitment to quality,” added Heaton. “This isn’t about adding to the noise – it’s about raising the bar for effectiveness and reliability in the longevity supplement space.”

Addressing Longevity.Technology’s editorial objectivity, Editor-in-chief, Phil Newman stressed that the company’s editorial and consumer products division will operate entirely separately.

“Our content will remain objective and unbiased,” said Newman. “With so much exciting work happening in the field of supplements and longevity we shall, of course, continue to review products from other brands objectively, and our readers should expect the same editorial rigor.”
